Please Don't Go

Please Don’t Go

This series of twenty images deals with the push and pull of relationship and the trauma of separation, but is also inspired by dance and music. In many ways, these noisy, aggressive pictures reflect the “zeitgeist” of the 1980s—brash, materialistic, and self-absorbed. There is a fascination with the inherent tension between movement and stasis, repulsion and attraction, color and neutrality that represent the dance of intimacy. Shall I stay or should I go?
